Michael Buckley
Michael Buckley is a 24-year-old native of Kerry, Ireland. Before commencing the Darley Flying Start programme Michael worked for Juddmonte Farms America as part of the Kentucky Equine Management Internship. In 2007 he completed the Irish National Stud Management program with honours, where he was awarded the Silver Medal. Michael has also worked for trainer John Oxx in Ireland and Belvedere Farm in New Zealand.
To date on Darley Flying Start Mick has carried out work placements at Fasig Tipton Sales Company in Lexington, Waikato Stud Farm in New Zealand, Dhruba Selvaratnam and John Hyde in Dubai and with Lillingston Bloodstock, Hungerford, UK.
Michael is due to graduate Darley Flying Start on July 3rd, 2010.
