Melanie Sauer
Melanie Sauer is 28 years old and comes from Dortmund, Germany. Melanie had valuable experience before commencing the Darley Flying Start programme, having worked for Gestut Schlenderhan in Germany and Champion Trainer Peter Schiergen. Melanie has also worked as a presenter at Bremen Racecourse in Germany. Holding an Amateur licence with 64 wins, Melanie was awarded German Lady Champion Rider in 2004.
To date on Darley Flying Start Melanie has carried out work placements at Miacomet Farm in the USA, Gai Waterhouse, trainer, at Randwick, Sydney, with Erwan Charpy and International Stables in Dubai and with trainers Mikel Delzangles and Alex Pantall in France.
Melanie is due to graduate Darley Flying Start on July 3rd, 2010.
