Chris Armstrong
Chris Armstrong is 23 years old and comes from Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Chris worked as an exercise rider with trainers Jim Bolger and David Wachman in Ireland and with Mark Johnston in the UK. He also spent some time working for John Oxx in Ireland and holds an amateur riders licence. He gained stud and breaking experience while employed by Coolmore Stud in Tipperary in 2006. Chris graduated from Enniskillen Agricultural College in 2008 with a BSc Hons Degree in Equine Management.
On the Darley Flying Start programme Chris has completed work placements with Christophe Clement in the USA, Mark Kavanagh in Australia, Mike de Kock and Godolphin in Dubai and David Lanigan in the UK.
