Kate Benner

Kate Benner comes from Louisville, Kentucky. The 24 year old received the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B. Sc. in Equine Science in 2009. She was employed at the university as a research assistant on a thoroughbred project while gaining marketing and customer service experience at Equibase Company.  She also completed internships with Fares Farm and at Neil Howard’s racing stables.

To date on Darley Flying Start Kate has completed work placements with Keeneland Bloodstock Sales, USA, Gai Waterhouse, Australia and John Hyde at Dubai Stables. She is currently completing a work placement with Falcon and Associates, Dubai.
