Michael Hardy

23 year old Michael Hardy is from Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Michael gained valuable practical experience with mares, foals and yearlings at JK Thoroughbreds and Ballygowan Stud before securing a place on the Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeding Course in 2009, where he obtained the Gold Medal. He graduated with a B. Sc. in Equine Science from the University of Limerick in 2010.

To date on Darley Flying Start Michael has completed work placements with Taylor Made Sales, USA and Chris Waller Racing, Australia. He is currently on placement at Mike de Kock's stables in Dubai.
