Valuable Experience
Graduates of the Darley International Student Programme will have completed three full time work placements in Europe, USA and Australasia as well as having worked hands on with thoroughbreds under the tutelage of Darley management. Placements offered include bloodstock, media, stud, racing, sales, marketing, racecourse management, syndication, consignment, wagering, veterinary management, industry services and product development.
Global Education
Training takes place in Ireland, USA, UK, Dubai and Australia with the option of placements in Japan and New Zealand giving a truly global experience. Certification by leading universities and training providers ensure that high standards of competence are required in order to graduate. Darley Flying Start trainees backgrounds are diverse including marketing, business, horsemanship, administration, law and veterinary medicine. By participating in the programme they gain specialization in the thoroughbred industry, leadership and business skills.
Industry Network
Throughout the two year programme, trainees are introduced to industry leaders across the world and build relationships for the future. An active alumni ensures that graduates join an existing network on entering into the industry.
Leadership
