Founded in 2003 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai, Darley Flying Start is an innovative International Management Training Programme for the thoroughbred industry.

Darley Flying Start has developed relationships with world leaders in horse racing and breeding leading to meaningful lectures, visits, work placements and career opportunities.

With modules accredited by a number of the world's leading universities and endorsed by the thoroughbred industry, Darley Flying Start offers a unique opportunity to those striving for excellence in their personal development and careers.

Potential trainees can apply annually for the scholarship, limited to 12 fully funded places. Those selected are expected to commit fully to the challenging and changing environment of the two year course.
