
Darley Flying Start announces new trainees
Darley Flying Start are pleased to announce that the 12 management trainees for the 2006 programme have now been selected. Due to begin the two-year course at Kildangan Stud this August, the new recruits are aged between 20 and 29 and represent eight different countries, including for the first time, China. Their backgrounds vary from race course marketing executive, to pupil assistant trainer to university graduate.
Now in its fourth year, the Flying Start programme offers a unique opportunity to live and learn in the racing and breeding centres of Ireland, Britain, America, Australia and Dubai. Taught by leading industry professionals, both in the lecture theatre and through hands-on experience, the course offers trainees an exceptional insight into the bloodstock industry.
