
Darley Flying Start is proud to announce the latest intake of trainees for its prestigious two-year
scholarship programme. The group is comprised of 12 individuals from seven different countries including representatives from Ireland, Britain, France, India, New Zealand, USA and China.
Since its inception in 2003, Darley Flying Start has established a reputation as the top management training programme in the thoroughbred world. Funded by Sheikh Mohammed, it offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading industry professionals while living in Ireland, Britain, America, Australia and Dubai. Graduates have gone on to secure jobs in key positions with leaders in the thoroughbred business including Jeremy Noseda, Todd Pletcher, Gai Waterhouse, Darley, Coolmore, Juddmonte, and Kern-Lillingston Bloodstock.
Clodagh Kavanagh, course manager, said, “Our network of graduates and industry support continues to grow and in aiming to fulfill Sheikh Mohammed’s vision we have been very fortunate to attract another excellent group of trainees for 2009.”

The 12 individuals will commence their training at Kildangan Stud in Ireland on the 17th of August 2009.
